Overall: To professionally coordinate and supervise our expanding security operations and personnel across multiple client sites.

More specifically,

To coordinate and oversee the effective delivery of security services across multiple client sites. The Security Operations Coordinator will be responsible for managing a team of security officers, ensuring operational compliance, and acting as a key point of contact for clients. This role is critical in maintaining our reputation for reliability and excellence.

Responsibilities

  1. Operational Coordination & Supervision:
  • Plan, schedule, and deploy security personnel to various client sites, always ensuring adequate coverage.
  • Conduct regular site visits to inspect posts, assess performance, and ensure compliance with Assignment Instructions (AIs).
  • Supervise a team of security officers, providing daily guidance, support, and leadership.
  1. Compliance & Quality Assurance:
  • Ensure all operations are conducted in strict compliance with the Private Security Industry Act 2001, SIA licensing regulations, and company policies.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of all incidents, patrols, and operational activities.
  • Assist in the company’s internal audit processes to uphold quality standards.
  1. Client Liaison & Communication:
  • Act as a primary point of contact for clients, building strong professional relationships and addressing any operational queries or concerns promptly.
  • Prepare and deliver regular operational reports to clients and senior management.
  1. Incident Management & Response:
  • Be the first point of escalation for security incidents, providing clear instructions and support to on-site officers.
  • Lead the initial response to incidents, ensuring proper procedures are followed and liaising with emergency services when required.
  1. Training & Development Support:
  • Work closely with the company’s education division to identify team training needs.
  • Support the delivery of vocational training by providing practical, on-the-job coaching and mentoring to new and existing staff.

  • Specialist certifications in risk management or protective security (e.g., accredited by the Security Institute or government agencies).

Overall: To provide strategic leadership for our educational division, ensuring the quality and compliance of our training programmes with awarding body standards.

More specifically;
To provide strategic leadership and operational management for ASMH Ltd’s education division. The Education and Training Manager will be responsible for the development, quality, and delivery of all educational programmes, ensuring they meet awarding body standards and effectively serve the needs of the security industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic Development & Curriculum Design:
  • Lead the strategic planning, development, and continuous improvement of the company’s educational portfolio, including security training, vocational qualifications, and bespoke programmes.
  • Design, validate, and review curriculum content to ensure it is robust, current, and meets the requirements of awarding bodies (e.g., Highfield, NCFE, City & Guilds).
  • Ensure all courses align with industry standards, National Occupational Standards, and Ofsted requirements (if applicable).
  1. Quality Assurance and Compliance:
  • Act as the Centre Coordinator for all awarding bodies, ensuring full compliance with their regulations and criteria.
  • Implement and manage a robust Internal Quality Assurance (IQA) process for all qualifications.
  • Lead preparations for and manage the relationship with external quality assurers, Ofsted, and other regulatory bodies.
  • Maintain all necessary documentation and records to demonstrate compliance and high-quality provision.
  1. Operational Management of Education:
  • Manage the end-to-end delivery of all training programmes, including scheduling, resource allocation, and learner enrolment.
  • Line manage and lead a team of trainers, assessors, and internal quality assurers.
  • Oversee the learner journey from initial assessment through to certification, ensuring a high-quality educational experience.
  1. Resource and Financial Management:
  • Manage the education division’s budget, monitoring expenditure and ensuring cost-effectiveness.
  • Source and manage learning resources, equipment, and training facilities to support effective delivery.
  1. Partnership and Stakeholder Engagement:
  • Work closely with the Security Operations management team to identify current and future skills gaps and develop training solutions.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, awarding bodies, and potential funding partners.
